Enchantress + Lion

Why this works

Setting up kills with this pair can feel a little awkward due to their conflicting positioning. Lion wants to get in range for Earth Spike and Hex, holding a target in place. While any lockdown is helpful, this doesn't create the perfect scenario for Enchantress, who needs to be as far away as possible to maximize damage from Impetus. She can find herself spending the stun duration moving away from the target to build distance, rather than freely attacking. The control from Lion is useful, but it doesn't directly enable the core damage mechanic for his partner.

During the lane, Lion's stun can set up Enchantress's slow from Enchant, and the two can pressure an opponent reasonably well. The disconnect grows in larger teamfights, where the pair’s goals diverge. Lion is focused on finding and bursting a single target with his full magical combo. At the same time, Enchantress is looking for a safe spot on the edge of the fight to apply her sustained damage over time. They end up playing separate games next to each other, without one hero truly amplifying what the other is trying to do.
