Enchantress + Shadow Fiend

Why this works

Playing around a friendly Shadow Fiend usually means finding ways to hold enemies still for his Shadowrazes and Requiem of Souls. Enchantress, for all her strengths, doesn't offer that kind of lockdown. She creates a frontline and slows attackers with Untouchable, but she has no stun or root to pin a target down. Shadow Fiend is left trying to land his skillshots on moving targets, which is unreliable. The healing from Nature's Attendants can help keep him alive, but it doesn't solve the core issue of setting up his damage.

This forces the duo to depend entirely on their other teammates for initiation and control. In teamfights, Enchantress wants to run at people and skirmish, while Shadow Fiend needs a more controlled engagement to get his spells off. An enemy team can often exploit this by separating them, kiting the Enchantress while focusing down the fragile SF. The game plan feels a bit disconnected, as neither hero directly enables what the other wants to do, putting a lot of pressure on the rest of the draft to provide the missing stuns.
