Enchantress + Slark

Why this works

Pairing a healer with a diving carry seems like a good idea, but the reality is more complicated. Slark is designed to be self-sufficient, using Dark Pact to clear debuffs and Shadow Dance to regenerate and escape. He rarely needs the kind of follow-up healing Enchantress provides with Nature's Attendants. Furthermore, Enchantress wants to attack from a safe distance to build Impetus damage, which is the opposite of where Slark needs to be. This creates a core positioning conflict that makes it difficult for them to play off each other effectively.

In practice, the two heroes often end up playing their own separate games. An early gank from Enchantress can help set up a Pounce, but once the mid-game starts, Slark prefers to hunt for solo pickoffs. In teamfights, they can feel disconnected. Slark will dive the backline while Enchantress stays on the edge of the fight, trying to contribute from afar. While they don't actively harm each other's game plans, their abilities rarely overlap in a way that creates a truly powerful combination.
