Faceless Void + Marci

Why this works

Putting Marci inside a Chronosphere to add damage often seems like the plan, but it can be awkward in practice. Marci is a melee hero, so if Faceless Void catches targets on the edge of the sphere, she can't contribute. Even with her Unleash ultimate, her damage is physical and ramps up, whereas Chronosphere demands immediate burst. Furthermore, one of her best tools for isolating a target, Dispose, is completely useless on enemies already frozen by the Chronosphere, making their setup potential redundant rather than complementary.

This pairing can feel like two heroes trying to do the same job. While Sidekick is a nice buff for Faceless Void at all stages, it doesn't create unique opportunities. The success of their combination relies heavily on a perfect Chronosphere that clumps key targets together, and Marci being in position to immediately start hitting them. In many fights, a different support could offer ranged damage from outside the bubble or provide setup *before* the Chronosphere, which is often a more flexible and reliable way to secure kills on high-priority heroes.
