Faceless Void + Pugna

Why this works

Adding damage to a Chronosphere is straightforward for Pugna, who can safely channel Life Drain and land Nether Blast on frozen targets. This provides a significant burst of magic damage on top of Faceless Void's physical attacks. A well-placed Nether Ward outside the Chronosphere's edge adds another layer of control. It won't affect enemies trapped inside, but it will punish their teammates for casting spells from the outside as they scramble to turn the fight, making it dangerous to even try and counter-initiate.

This coordination can be fragile. The entire combo is ruined if Pugna accidentally uses Decrepify on Void's primary target, making them immune to his physical attacks. Beyond that major risk, the heroes operate on different timers. Pugna is a mid-game tempo hero who wants to force fights and take towers, while Faceless Void is a hard carry who often needs more time to come online. If their timings don't align, Pugna can feel like a liability who is too squishy to survive, leaving Void without the backup he needs to convert a good Chronosphere into a won fight.
