Faceless Void + Wraith King

Why this works

Thinking these two cores step on each other's toes is a common mistake. While Chronosphere provides a perfect setup, the real synergy comes from what happens after it ends. Faceless Void is often vulnerable once his ultimate is on cooldown, but Wraith King solves this by being an enormous problem himself. His job is to stand in the front, demand enemy spells, and use Reincarnation to create a massive amount of space and time. This lets Void reposition or Time Walk out, wait for the enemy to commit to the revived king, and then re-engage on his own terms.

This dynamic pressures the enemy from the mid-game onward. Wraith King can force fights and create space while Faceless Void farms key items, and once Void comes online, any target caught by Chronosphere is gone. In larger fights, the enemy team faces a dilemma. They can try to ignore Wraith King and get run down by his relentless damage and lifesteal, or they can blow crucial spells to kill him, only for him to respawn right as Void is ready to clean up the chaos. It's a no-win situation.
