Faceless Void + Vengeful Spirit

Why this works

Thinking about Vengeful Spirit, you usually worry about her getting caught by a Chronosphere, but having her on the same team as Faceless Void is a different game entirely. The synergy is built on simple, effective buffs. Vengeance Aura gives Void a free damage boost, and a well-aimed Wave of Terror right before he jumps in means his bashes inside Chronosphere will shred through the enemy's armor. For targets that are hard to pin down, a Magic Missile provides the perfect setup stun, giving Faceless Void a clear window to land his ultimate.

This pairing is all about enabling the perfect Chronosphere. Vengeful Spirit can use Nether Swap to get Void into an ideal position to catch the whole enemy team, or she can use it to pull a priority target back into the sphere they thought they had escaped. The enemy team knows this is the main threat, so they'll work hard to spread out and make a good swap impossible. It's also worth remembering that Venge is helpless if she gets caught inside Chronosphere herself, which is why the combo is solid but not overwhelming.
