Nature's Prophet + Kez

Why this works

Farming the map becomes a serious problem with this duo. Nature's Prophet uses his global Teleport to take farm from every empty lane and jungle, which are the exact same resources a melee carry like Kez needs to build his core items. This creates a direct conflict over the map's economy from the very start. Their abilities also fail to connect in lane; Nature's Prophet offers very little protection or setup for a melee partner, and his Sprout can even obstruct Kez from getting to a target. They both want to control the map but end up stepping on each other's toes.

This economic conflict means Kez often falls behind on his item timings, leaving him too weak to take the duels he is designed to win during the mid-game. While Nature's Prophet is off creating his own pressure, Kez is left struggling for safe farm against enemy rotations. Opponents can capitalize on this by either ganging up on the isolated Prophet or repeatedly killing the under-resourced Kez. Ultimately, the lineup has two greedy heroes who don't directly enable one another, creating a fatal lack of cohesion as the game progresses.
