Nature's Prophet + Legion Commander

Why this works

Trying to set up a Duel for Legion Commander often exposes the core problem here. Nature's Prophet's primary ganking tool is Sprout, which traps an enemy hero in a ring of trees. The issue is that it also traps Legion Commander *out*, preventing her from walking in to cast Duel. Unless she already has a Blink Dagger or the target is right at the edge, she’s stuck waiting. Even worse, Sprout can block other allies from joining the Duel to help secure the kill, leaving Legion Commander to fight alone. Nature's Prophet's other spells don't offer the burst damage needed to quickly finish a Dueled target either.

This difficult setup means their timings don't line up well. Legion Commander needs successful early Duels to snowball, but Nature's Prophet offers awkward, unreliable assistance. He's often better off using his global Teleport to pressure other lanes, which leaves Legion Commander without a strong ganking partner. The duo tends to play separate games on the same map, with LC struggling to get her damage bonus and NP's split push failing to make up for a core who can't hit her timings. This often leads to a weak mid-game where the team lacks a true frontline threat.
