Nature's Prophet + Lion

Why this works

Picking both these heroes for a gank-heavy lineup sounds good on paper, but they end up competing for the same role. Nature's Prophet wants to join fights with Teleportation to add damage and control, while Lion brings his own chain of stuns for a pickoff. The issue is that both are single-target specialists. Sprout and Earth Spike provide lockdown, but a team with both heroes often lacks the area-of-effect damage or teamfight control needed to handle more than one enemy at a time. This leaves the draft feeling greedy and fragile, with two heroes trying to do the same job.

The result is a game plan that falls apart when enemies start grouping. Early kills might create a lead, but that advantage evaporates in the first five-on-five engagement. Once the initial burst from Finger of Death is used on one target, the duo offers little else to the fight. Opponents can simply weather the initial gank attempt and then run over the vulnerable Nature's Prophet and Lion. Without a solid frontline or sustained damage to follow up their lockdown, they can't effectively push or defend as a unit, often letting the game slip away.
