Nature's Prophet + Shadow Fiend

Why this works

Trying to set up a kill with Sprout often backfires completely. The ring of trees blocks line of sight, which prevents Shadow Fiend from landing any Shadowrazes on the target. Nature's Prophet's primary lockdown tool actively works against SF's main source of damage, making what should be an easy gank incredibly awkward. Instead of holding an enemy in place for a burst combo, Sprout can end up saving them. This basic mechanical conflict makes coordinating their spells much harder than it looks.

Beyond that clash, their overall game plans don't mesh well. Both Nature's Prophet and Shadow Fiend are greedy heroes who want to accelerate their farm by taking over large sections of the map. They end up competing for the same waves and jungle camps rather than creating space for one another. The resulting lineup is usually very fragile, lacking a durable initiator who can stand in front. This forces Shadow Fiend to play cautiously and makes it difficult to leverage his mid-game power spikes in teamfights.
