Nature's Prophet + Nyx Assassin

Why this works

Combining their spells for a gank often proves surprisingly difficult. Nyx Assassin relies on a clear path for Impale to connect, but Nature's Prophet's Sprout frequently blocks the projectile and ruins the setup. The trees can also obstruct vision or pathing, preventing Nyx from closing in for his initial burst. Instead of a clean kill, the heroes end up stepping on each other's toes, with their core lockdown abilities actively working against one another.

This friction extends to their overall game plan. Both heroes want to create pressure and find pickoffs, but they rarely enable each other to do so. Nature's Prophet is focused on global pressure and split-pushing, while Nyx Assassin is looking for specific targets to assassinate. This often leads to them playing separate games on different parts of the map. Without a strong frontline presence or reliable teamfight combination between them, they struggle to group effectively and can be picked apart by a more coordinated opponent.
