Nature's Prophet + Phoenix

Why this works

Casting Sprout on an enemy near Phoenix's Supernova is often a disaster. The trees will trap the egg, preventing your own team from repositioning to defend it from ranged attackers. More broadly, Nature's Prophet excels at creating obstructions and isolating targets, which clutters the battlefield. Phoenix, on the other hand, needs open space to use Icarus Dive effectively and to encourage enemies to cluster for the eventual stun. Their core abilities actively work against each other in chaotic teamfights, with Nature's Prophet's lockdown frequently becoming a liability for Phoenix's positioning.

This core conflict extends to their overall game plan. Phoenix wants the team grouped and ready to commit to a big five-man fight around Supernova. Nature's Prophet is designed to split the map, applying pressure with Teleportation and forcing reactions away from his team. When that big fight happens for Phoenix, Nature's Prophet is often on the other side of the map entirely, unable to provide the crucial backup needed to protect the egg. They pull the team in two opposite strategic directions, making it difficult to execute either plan well.
