Nature's Prophet + Puck

Why this works

Using Sprout on a target caught by Dream Coil often does more harm than good. Puck wants enemies to panic and break the leash to get the stun, but Sprout traps them safely inside the circle. This gives the target a free pass to wait out the Coil's duration or even turn and fight from inside the trees without getting punished. Instead of layering control, Nature's Prophet's lockdown actively undermines Puck’s ultimate. Their core spells are fundamentally at odds, making it difficult to set up kills for one another during ganks or teamfights.

This clash forces the two heroes to play separate games. Puck looks for teamfights and pickoffs, while Nature's Prophet tends to split-push and apply pressure elsewhere. They lack the synergy to create a cohesive threat. Without a reliable way to chain their lockdown, they can't burst down key targets before help arrives. An enemy team can often split up to handle their separate pressure points, as there's little danger of this duo linking up for a truly decisive gank. The game plan feels disjointed from the start.
