Nature's Prophet + Sand King

Why this works

A teamfight starting around a channeled Epicenter is where this pairing falls apart. Sand King's entire purpose is to jump into the enemy team and cause massive disruption, but he needs immediate, heavy follow-up to succeed. Nature's Prophet provides the opposite. His strength lies in being somewhere else entirely, pushing a lane and forcing the enemy to split their attention. While Nature's Prophet can use Teleportation to join, he arrives as a fragile damage dealer, not the frontline presence Sand King needs to survive after blinking in.

This conflict defines the mid-game. Once Sand King has his key items to initiate, he wants to group up and force objectives. This is precisely when Nature's Prophet wants to begin creating pressure across the map, splitting the enemy. The result is a team that can't commit to either strategy. Fights often happen with Nature's Prophet either absent or arriving too late, leaving Sand King to initiate for a numbers-disadvantaged team. One hero must abandon their typical playstyle, which usually leads to them being far less effective.
