Nature's Prophet + Templar Assassin

Why this works

Locking a target down inside Sprout is usually a good thing, but for Templar Assassin it's a disaster. Her Psi Blades need a clear line behind her primary target to splash damage onto other enemies. The ring of trees from Nature's Prophet's spell completely blocks this line of effect. Instead of setting up a kill, Sprout actively prevents Templar Assassin from contributing her full damage, turning her into a simple right-clicker with none of her usual area denial.

This conflict makes ganks feel awkward all game. Nature's Prophet can teleport in for a kill and trap a hero, but TA can't follow up with her signature damage. She's forced to either attack without her splash or wait for the trees to disappear, giving the enemy time to react. Both heroes want to control the mid-game with map pressure and pickoffs, but their kits simply work at cross-purposes when used together. She needs enemies grouped up, not isolated in a way that neuters her.
