Nature's Prophet + Ursa

Why this works

Playing against this duo often feels surprisingly manageable. The core problem is that Nature's Prophet's primary control spell, Sprout, actively works against Ursa. Unless Ursa is already on top of his target, the ring of trees will physically block him from getting into melee range to build up Fury Swipes. The target can often escape by cutting the trees, leaving Ursa running in circles on the outside. Both heroes also rely heavily on physical damage, which allows opponents to counter them both by simply building armor items. The two kits create direct and unavoidable conflict.

Their overall game plans also tend to clash. Ursa wants to group with his team as early as possible to force fights, take Roshan, and build a lead through aggression. He needs reliable setup from his allies to make this happen. Nature's Prophet, on the other hand, excels at applying pressure across the map by himself, splitting lanes and using Teleportation to pick his fights. This leaves Ursa trying to start a brawl while his ally is on the other side of the map, making it easy for the enemy team to isolate and punish them one by one.
