Why this works

Deciding to pair these heroes is a commitment to aggressive, nighttime map control. Grimstroke's Soulbind creates the perfect setup for Night Stalker's hunt. When two enemies are leashed, a single cast of Void will hit them both, applying a massive slow and burst of damage that makes escape nearly impossible. Grimstroke's other spells also layer on perfectly; Stroke of Fate can slow a fleeing target from range for Night Stalker to catch up, while a well-placed Ink Swell provides the lockdown needed to secure a kill once he arrives. The entire kit enables Night Stalker to find and stick to his prey.
