Grimstroke + Tidehunter

Why this works

Trying to spread out to dodge a big Ravage often plays right into this combo's hands. Grimstroke can easily land Soulbind on two heroes who think they're safely apart, forcing them into a perfect setup for Tidehunter. The main value isn't even copied spells; it's the guaranteed lockdown. Tidehunter blinks in for an ideal Ravage on the leashed targets. The follow-up is devastating too, as a single Gush from Tidehunter will hit both Soulbound enemies, shredding their armor and making them easy cleanup for your team.

Once both heroes have their ultimates, the enemy has to play with constant respect. They are forced to either split up so much that Grimstroke can't land a double Soulbind, leaving them vulnerable to being picked off, or they have to risk the wombo combo. Their best bet is bursting Grimstroke from the backline before he can act or having saves ready for whoever gets leashed. Meanwhile, Tidehunter can also start fights using Grimstroke's Ink Swell, running in as a stunning, damage-dealing bomb before he even presses his own ultimate.
