Grimstroke + Vengeful Spirit

Why this works

Setting up ganks becomes incredibly simple once Grimstroke gets his ultimate. His Soulbind allows Vengeful Spirit’s single-target Magic Missile to hit both tethered enemies, creating a long-duration, double-hero stun from a safe distance. This is often enough lockdown for the rest of the team to collapse and secure a kill on a priority target. Grimstroke can then layer his own slow and silence on top, while Vengeful Spirit’s Wave of Terror shreds armor for any physical damage dealers who join the fight. It's a straightforward but devastating control combo.

This duo creates constant pick-off pressure from the mid-game onward. Opponents are forced to play spread out, as getting caught next to a teammate can easily lose them a fight or an objective. The combo is particularly strong for breaking high ground or contesting Roshan, where defending heroes are naturally grouped up. If the enemy team can’t quickly break the Soulbind leash or save their stunned allies, Grimstroke and Vengeful Spirit can dictate the terms of every engagement by punishing the slightest positioning mistake.
