Hoodwink + Marci

Why this works

Pairing these two heroes is often a bet on landing a specific combo using their disables. The idea is for Marci to use Dispose to throw an enemy right next to a tree, setting up a guaranteed Bushwhack from Hoodwink. In practice, this is trickier than it sounds. It requires tight coordination, perfect positioning from both heroes, and a conveniently located tree. If the setup fails, Marci is often left in a dangerous spot, and Hoodwink has her main stun on cooldown. Both heroes bring a lot of physical burst, but they don't have a reliable way to layer their abilities without this conditional setup.

Early kills are possible if the combo connects, but you can't build your whole laning strategy around it. As the game progresses, their game plans tend to diverge. Marci wants to dive into the enemy team with Rebound and Unleash, causing chaos in the middle of the fight. Hoodwink, on the other hand, prefers to stay on the edges, looking for safe positions to use Acorn Shot and charge a full-damage Sharpshooter. They end up fighting parallel battles rather than truly enabling each other, which can lead to scattered focus fire and less decisive teamfight wins.
