Jakiro + Keeper of the Light

Why this works

Placing Macropyre on a target locked down by Ice Path is the dream, but it's often undermined by Keeper of the Light's own kit. Blinding Light pushes enemies away, which can easily shove them out of Jakiro's damage-over-time spells and waste a perfect setup. While Chakra Magic is useful for fueling Jakiro's high mana costs, the core abilities of these two heroes are often working at cross-purposes. One hero wants to hold targets in a specific spot, while the other wants to reposition them.

This means teamfights can feel uncoordinated. The duo is great at shoving lanes and defending high ground, using their combined waveclear to stall the game. However, both Jakiro and Keeper of the Light are slow heroes that want to play from the backline. Against lineups that can dive effectively, this pair becomes very fragile. They share the same weakness of being susceptible to mobile heroes closing the distance. Even with KOTL's Recall available to save an ally, it's not enough to solve their shared vulnerability.
