Jakiro + Legion Commander

Why this works

Setting up a Duel with Ice Path sounds good on paper, but the timing rarely lines up. Legion Commander wants to initiate on a target instantly with a Blink Dagger, but all of Jakiro's spells have a cast time or travel delay. By the time an Ice Path actually lands, Legion has either already committed or the target has repositioned. While Jakiro's area control is always useful, he provides damage over time, not the instant burst that helps secure a Duel win. Press the Attack also gives Legion a way to close gaps on her own, making Jakiro's slows less critical for the setup.

Throughout the game, this means the two heroes tend to operate independently. Legion Commander will be off hunting for opportune pick-offs, while Jakiro focuses on controlling larger areas and pushing lanes with Liquid Fire. Success comes from Legion finding good duels on her own terms and Jakiro locking down the rest of the enemy team during the fight. They aren't actively working against each other, but there isn't a strong, reliable combo that makes them a particularly powerful pair. They each have to win their own part of the game.
