Jakiro + Lion

Why this works

Trying to chain disables with this duo often leads to wasted potential. Lion's Earth Spike and Jakiro's Ice Path are both delayed, linear stuns that serve the same purpose: setting up a kill. When both are available for a gank, it's very easy to cast them at the same time, effectively using two long-cooldown spells for the duration of one. Both heroes are trying to be the primary setup for the team's magic burst, but their toolkits don't complement each other; they overlap in a way that feels redundant and inefficient during crucial pickoff attempts.

This overlap creates a draft that lacks flexibility. A team with both Lion and Jakiro is heavy on slow, telegraphed magic damage but often lacks other crucial elements. There's no reliable save for a carry getting jumped, no physical damage from the supports, and no real mobility to control the map. The game plan becomes very predictable: land a stun from the fog and hope the burst is enough. If the initial spells miss or the enemy has a way to survive, the lineup has very few alternative ways to win a teamfight or secure objectives.
