Jakiro + Marci

Why this works

Trying to layer lockdown with this pair can feel a bit clumsy. The core issue is that Marci’s Dispose moves a target, while Jakiro wants enemies to stand still inside his spells. If Jakiro lands a good Ice Path or Macropyre, Marci might accidentally throw the target right out of the damage and stun zone. While she can try to throw enemies back into the fire, it requires a lot of coordination and timing. Other hero combinations offer much simpler and more reliable stun chains, so this one can feel like the two heroes are working against each other unless they play perfectly.

This disconnect is most obvious during the laning stage and in mid-game teamfights. In lane, a poorly timed throw from Marci can waste Jakiro's mana and cooldowns by moving the enemy to safety. Later on, Jakiro excels at controlling large areas and forcing the enemy team to reposition. Marci, on the other hand, wants to dive a specific hero and isolate them. If she dives and throws her target away from the Macropyre, you're splitting your team's damage and control instead of focusing it, which can let key enemies escape.
