Jakiro + Undying

Why this works

Facing this duo in a teamfight feels like walking through mud. Tombstone zombies slow you down and clog pathways while Macropyre and Liquid Fire burn away at your health. The goal is to create an overwhelming zone of control that no one can survive fighting in. The issue is that both heroes are applying slow, sustained damage over a large area. Without a hard, instant stun from either Jakiro or Undying to lock targets down, enemies can often simply walk out of the combined spell effects, especially if they have mobility items or abilities.

This lane can be oppressive early, as Decay and Dual Breath grind down opponents. The combo's effectiveness can fall off, however, if they don't secure a strong lead from that pressure. Both Jakiro and Undying want the enemy team to commit to a prolonged, head-on fight in one spot. Coordinated opponents will tend to avoid this. They'll split the map, find pickoffs on these slow-moving heroes, or disengage the moment Tombstone is dropped, waiting for the long cooldowns to be spent before striking back.
