Jakiro + Windranger

Why this works

Trying to chain stuns with this pair often feels clumsy. Jakiro's best setup tool, Ice Path, has a cast delay that makes it difficult to use as a primary stun for lining up Windranger's Shackleshot. A slow from Dual Breath helps, but it’s not the hard lockdown Windranger needs to consistently land her ideal stun. This means both heroes tend to use their spells independently rather than in sequence. Jakiro provides general area control and damage over time, while Windranger is left to find her own pickoff opportunities without a reliable initiator to help her.

This lack of synergy is felt from the laning stage onward, where securing kills is harder than it should be. An enemy caught by a slow or even an Ice Path can often reposition before a good Shackle angle appears. Later on, their teamfight objectives clash. Jakiro excels at creating chaos and zoning with Macropyre, forcing the enemy team to scatter. Windranger, on the other hand, wants to pin down and eliminate a single priority target with Focus Fire. They end up working on separate problems during the same fight, rarely combining their power for a single, decisive kill.
