Why this works

Securing farm for Phantom Assassin is the main goal here. Keeper of the Light's Chakra Magic allows her to spam Stifling Dagger endlessly, which guarantees last hits from a safe distance and wears down the enemy laner. This constant mana supply directly translates into a faster Battle Fury or Desolator timing. KotL can also shove the lane with Illuminate, creating space and tower pressure that gives his carry room to breathe. The laning phase becomes very consistent for PA, though the pair lacks the hard lockdown needed to guarantee kills on their own.

Later on, the duo's plans can diverge. A farmed Phantom Assassin wants to find isolated targets to burst, while Keeper of the Light excels at controlling larger teamfights from the back lines. Opponents will often try to group up and force fights, knowing that PA's single-target focus can be punished if she jumps in alone. The success of this pairing often comes down to whether PA can snowball hard enough from her strong start to overwhelm the enemy before they can coordinate a response to her assassination attempts.
