How Keeper of the Light and Clockwerk perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Keeper of the Light and Clockwerk win 47.81% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 7,490 matches.
Drafting these heroes together often comes down to weighing the long-range setup against some messy execution. A Clockwerk landing a good Hookshot can give Keeper of the Light all the time he needs to channel a full Illuminate from a safe distance. Chakra Magic is also useful for letting Clockwerk use Rocket Flare for vision or get an extra Battery Assault off in a fight. The problem is that their kits can actively work against each other. Clockwerk wants to trap a hero in Power Cogs, but a poorly timed Blinding Light from Keeper of the Light can easily knock the target straight out of the trap, saving them. This conflict makes their overall impact unreliable.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
