Why this works
Thinking you can split damage types by pairing these two cores often proves to be a mistake. Kez is a duelist at heart, looking to isolate one enemy and take them down with his stance-swapping and parries. Leshrac wants the exact opposite: a chaotic, five-on-five brawl where he can run in with Pulse Nova and hit everyone at once. Their plans actively conflict. Kez doesn’t provide the lockdown to help Leshrac land a key Split Earth, and Leshrac’s area-of-effect damage doesn’t help Kez win his one-on-one fight. They end up playing two separate games within the same teamfight, which is easy for a coordinated enemy to dismantle.
