How Kez and Ogre Magi perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Kez and Ogre Magi win 46.36% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 28,383 matches.
Picking a lane partner for Kez means finding a way to secure his farm, and this is where the pairing can feel awkward. Running Kez with Ogre Magi creates a double-melee lane, which is easy for many opponents to punish with ranged harass. This pressure can starve Kez of the resources he needs to hit his item timings. While Ogre’s Bloodlust is a great steroid for any carry later in the game, it doesn’t solve the fundamental problem of getting through a difficult laning stage. Kez often thrives with a support who can better control the lane from a distance or offer a different kind of setup for his duels.
