Kunkka + Mirana

Why this works

Attempting to set up Sacred Arrow with Kunkka’s combo is the main idea here, but it's much harder than it looks. The timing on X Marks the Spot is controlled entirely by Kunkka, making it very difficult for a Mirana to judge arrow travel time. Even if he uses Torrent as the setup, the brief invulnerability from the water spout can cause the arrow to whiff entirely. The whole sequence requires a level of coordination that's tough to pull off consistently, often leading to one spell landing but the other going to waste.

Across a game, this means the two heroes often end up working separately. Instead of a clean setup, you'll see stuns layered on top of each other, wasting lockdown duration on a single target. It's usually more effective for Kunkka to execute his own X-Torrent-Ghostship combo and for Mirana to use her arrow to catch a different hero or to secure a kill after Kunkka's spells have landed. While Moonlight Shadow can help Kunkka get into position, the core spell interaction is too unreliable to build a strategy around.
