How Kunkka and Templar Assassin perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Kunkka and Templar Assassin win 47.18% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 9,926 matches.
Playing with both Kunkka and Templar Assassin on a team creates some real friction. They both rely on physical burst, which allows opponents to stack armor and shut down two heroes with one type of itemization. While Kunkka is great at stripping Refraction charges with Tidebringer in a lane matchup, that doesn't translate into effective gank setup. Templar Assassin needs to blink and instantly delete a target with Meld. Kunkka’s X Marks the Spot and Torrent combo is powerful, but it’s too slow and unpredictable for TA to reliably follow up. Often, the target is displaced or the stun ends before she can get her full damage off.
