Kunkka + Tiny

Why this works

Putting these two heroes in a lane looks like a free-kill setup on paper, but it often falls apart. The core issue is that their lockdown spells actively work against each other. Tiny wants to control a target's position with Avalanche and Toss, but the airborne movement from Toss makes it a nightmare for Kunkka to land a Torrent or a follow-up Tidebringer. Even if Kunkka lands a perfect X Marks the Spot, an uncoordinated Toss can pull the enemy to a completely different location, wasting the setup and letting them escape. Their abilities don't stack; they conflict.

This lack of coordination leads to messy ganks and lost teamfights. From the laning stage onward, what should be a straightforward kill turns into a chaotic scramble where the target walks away. Later on, a well-placed Ghostship or Torrent from Kunkka can be completely negated if Tiny tosses the primary target out of the impact zone. To make this pairing work, one hero has to deliberately hold their spells and wait for the other to act first. That hesitation is often all the enemy team needs to turn the fight around or escape.
