Largo + Necrophos

Why this works

Trying to secure a kill with Reaper's Scythe can feel difficult when the target isn't locked down. Necrophos thrives in long fights where he can wear opponents down with his aura, but he needs help holding them in place to guarantee his ultimate connects. Largo often doesn't bring the kind of hard control or catch that Necrophos wants in a partner. While Necrophos provides team-wide sustain that anyone can appreciate, the core problem of catching and killing elusive targets isn't solved by pairing these two heroes together, leaving a major gap in the team's plan.

This pairing puts immense pressure on the other three heroes in the draft. If the rest of your team is packed with stuns and roots, Largo and Necrophos can follow up effectively and simply outlast the enemy in a fight. Against a mobile enemy lineup, however, the duo can feel powerless, unable to force engagements or prevent key heroes from escaping. The two don't actively work against each other, but they don't cover each other's fundamental weaknesses, leading to games that feel decided by the rest of the draft.
