How Largo and Skywrath Mage perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Largo and Skywrath Mage win 47.40% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 6,926 matches.
Landing a full Mystic Flare requires the target to be held completely still. Skywrath Mage himself only brings a silence and slow; he has no stun to lock an enemy down under his ultimate. This places the entire burden of setup on his allies. If Largo isn't a hero that provides a long, reliable stun, this pairing falls apart. The team is left with a massive damage spell that is very difficult to connect, wasting its potential. Too often, this duo leaves your draft feeling short on the hard control needed to secure kills for Skywrath, as you're banking on Largo filling a very specific role that may not be part of its core design.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
