Legion Commander + Tidehunter

Why this works

Setting up a clean Duel is the whole idea here. Tidehunter's Ravage can lock down the entire enemy team, letting Legion Commander pick her target without any risk of being counter-stunned or having allies save her opponent. It clears the board for a one-on-one fight. Tidehunter can also contribute directly to the Duel's outcome with Gush's armor reduction and Anchor Smash's attack damage reduction, which both make it much easier for Legion Commander to secure the victory and the bonus damage. This combination turns a high-risk ultimate into a much safer play.

The game plan is simple: Tidehunter finds a multi-hero Ravage, and Legion Commander Duels the most important target. This can make snowballing from early Duel wins feel pretty consistent. The main catch is that this synergy is almost entirely tied to Ravage's long cooldown. When that ultimate is down, the two heroes don't offer each other much. An aware enemy team will play around this timing, forcing fights when Ravage is unavailable or spreading out so it can’t hit everyone. They know what you want to do, so they'll position and build items to survive the combo.
