Leshrac + Lion

Why this works

Picking both of these heroes on one team often creates a problem of priority. Both Leshrac and Lion rely heavily on getting key items to be effective—Lion needs mobility to initiate from a safe distance, while Leshrac needs survivability to stay in the fight and deal damage with Pulse Nova. While Lion’s stuns can set up for a Split Earth, this basic chain is something many supports can offer. The core issue is that both heroes want to hit a similar mid-game timing, and there often isn't enough farm on the map for both to come online when they need to.

The game plan relies on getting early kills and snowballing hard. If they succeed, they can chain disables and burst down isolated targets before the enemy can react. However, if that early aggression fails or the enemy team plays grouped together, this duo struggles. Leshrac can get focused down easily if he doesn't have his items, and a support Lion without a Blink Dagger has a hard time finding good initiations. Their kits don't cover each other's weaknesses; instead, they both present the same problem and hope to solve it by winning the lane outright.
