Leshrac + Skywrath Mage

Why this works

Competing for the same farm on the map can make this lineup feel a bit strained. Both Leshrac and Skywrath Mage are mana-hungry magic dealers who rely on getting levels and specific items to be effective. This can lead to them stepping on each other's toes when it comes to farming lanes and jungle camps, potentially delaying key timings for both. While they can pour out a lot of magic damage, their abilities don't have exceptional synergy. Skywrath Mage really wants a long, reliable stun to guarantee his Mystic Flare lands, and Leshrac’s delayed Split Earth isn't always the ideal tool for that specific job.

This pairing often results in a team that is all-in on magic burst and needs to win early. If they can't create a significant lead, the enemy team has a very clear path to itemize against them. A single Pipe of Insight or multiple Glimmer Capes can shut down a huge portion of the team's damage output at once. The lineup can also end up being quite fragile, lacking the lockdown or frontline presence needed to create space. Without a strong setup from another ally, both heroes can find themselves vulnerable and unable to cast their spells effectively in teamfights.
