Lina + Shadow Fiend

Why this works

Picking both Lina and Shadow Fiend usually means your draft is fighting over the same resources from the start. Both heroes are greedy cores that want to accelerate their farm, get levels, and hit a powerful mid-game timing. This means they're often competing for the same lane creeps and jungle camps. Since they both function best as high-tempo midlaners, one of them is already playing in a less-than-ideal role. Their kits also offer overlapping strengths; they're both glass cannons that deal a ton of damage but bring little in the way of control, lockdown, or a frontline presence.

This lack of durability and initiation makes the team composition predictable and fragile. Opponents can draft heroes that survive the initial burst from Lina and Shadow Fiend and then run straight at them. If either core falls behind, there's very little the other can do to create space or help them recover, as they both need gold to be relevant. The game plan relies heavily on winning the early game and snowballing hard. If that plan fails, the team lacks the tools for a comeback and often gets picked off one by one while trying to farm.
