Lina + Pudge

Why this works

Sharing the map can be tricky for these two, as both heroes often want to be active in the same spaces. Lina needs to secure farm to hit her item timings for burst damage, while Pudge is constantly looking for openings to land a Meat Hook and create pressure. The success of their ganks relies almost entirely on that initial hook connecting. When it misses, both heroes have lost significant time and positioning, which can slow down the entire team's momentum and leave other lanes vulnerable.

The ideal play is landing a hook on an isolated enemy, where Pudge's Dismember provides a perfect lockdown for Lina to land Light Strike Array and her full damage combo. This can delete a single hero and create an immediate power play. However, this strategy becomes less effective as the game goes on. Opponents will start moving as a group, making single-hero pickoffs much harder. Committing two major ultimates for one target who then gets saved by their team often means you've already lost the ensuing fight.
