Lina + Ringmaster

Why this works

Lining up a kill with this pair feels clumsy. Lina needs a target held in place to guarantee her Light Strike Array connects, but Ringmaster’s main setup tool actively moves the enemy. His hypnotic pull forces targets to walk, which makes predicting Lina’s delayed stun a serious challenge. Instead of a clean stun-into-burst combo, you get two spells that are difficult to time together, often resulting in one or both missing their mark completely. This fundamental conflict in their spell mechanics makes them an awkward fit.

This awkwardness means they lack kill pressure throughout the game. During the laning phase, opponents can often walk away from gank attempts because the setup is so unreliable. As the game goes on, Lina and Ringmaster struggle to coordinate and delete a key target before a teamfight. Lina is forced to either guess where her stun will land or wait for Ringmaster’s spell to end, giving the enemy a window to use a defensive item or escape. The duo often feels like it's playing two separate games, unable to combine its strengths effectively.
