Lina + Silencer

Why this works

Putting Lina and Silencer on the same team can slow the game down. Lina wants to snowball off early kills, but Silencer’s kit doesn't provide the instant stun she needs to guarantee her Light Strike Array connects. He brings silences with Arcane Curse and Last Word, which are disruptive but don't hold anyone in place for her burst damage. While you can use Global Silence to set up a kill for Lina, trading a massive teamfight ultimate for a single pickoff is rarely efficient. As a result, they can struggle to create pressure together and often resort to farming separately.

This forces a very predictable rhythm onto your game. You wait for Global Silence, try to burst a target with Lina, and hope to convert that into an objective. When that ultimate is on cooldown, the two heroes offer each other very little. Good opponents will exploit this by either taking fights when Global is down or by rushing items like Black King Bar to make the entire setup useless. This leaves Lina exposed and Silencer without his main contribution, forcing them to play reactively instead of setting the pace of the match.
