Lion + Ogre Magi

Why this works

Putting these two supports on one team often creates a greedy lane that struggles to build momentum. Both Lion and Ogre Magi need a lot of experience to be effective, and their kits overlap significantly. You get a ton of single-target lockdown, which is fine, but you're left with almost no way to clear creep waves or defend against a coordinated push. This puts a huge strain on your cores to handle all the lane pressure by themselves, while both supports compete for limited resources to get the levels and items they need to function.

The result is a draft that can feel passive and reactive. Early ganks can work if you chain your stuns perfectly on an overextended target, but you lose control of the map as the game goes on. Without wave clear, it's hard for Lion or Ogre to secure space for the team to farm. This delays critical items like a Blink Dagger on either hero, making initiation difficult. While Ogre can at least use Bloodlust to boost a carry, the pair often finds itself waiting for the enemy to make a mistake rather than being able to dictate the pace of the game.
