Lone Druid + Shadow Fiend

Why this works

Trying to find enough farm for two greedy cores can stretch a team's resources thin. Both Lone Druid and Shadow Fiend want to occupy the safest lanes and jungle camps to hit their item timings. They don't offer each other much in the way of gank setup or control, either. Shadow Fiend thrives on having a big stun to lock enemies down for his Shadowraze combo or Requiem of Souls, but Lone Druid's bear only provides a root, which isn't always enough to secure a kill on its own.

The result is a draft that often feels disjointed. The team can have two strong farming heroes, but they may struggle to create pressure or contest objectives together. While they can both tear down towers quickly once they get rolling, getting to that point can be awkward. Success often depends on the other three heroes providing an unusual amount of lockdown and space creation. Without that strong support foundation, both Lone Druid and Shadow Fiend can find themselves competing for the same slice of the map, slowing each other down.
