Lone Druid + Phantom Assassin

Why this works

Putting two greedy, physical-damage cores on the same team creates a natural tension over farm. Both Lone Druid and Phantom Assassin want to occupy the same parts of the map to accelerate their item timings. While the Spirit Bear's root can occasionally set up a clean kill for a blinking Phantom Assassin, that's about the extent of their direct interaction. PA offers little to keep the bear or Lone Druid himself alive, and Lone Druid's kit is mostly self-sufficient. They end up as two solo artists forced to share a stage, each needing their own spotlight to perform.

This lineup's success hinges on whether they can get ahead early and stay there. The game plan is to have the bear apply constant pressure to buildings while PA hunts for pick-offs, forcing the enemy to split their attention. This can work, but the strategy is very predictable. An enemy team that groups up and builds armor items can neutralize both threats at once. Without a strong magical damage or control element from the rest of your draft, both Lone Druid and Phantom Assassin can find themselves hitting a wall, unable to close out the game.
