Lone Druid + Phoenix

Why this works

Protecting a Supernova egg becomes much easier when you have an extra hero available to hit it. Lone Druid's Spirit Bear provides a consistent, high-damage attacker that can't be disabled by most spells, forcing enemies to commit serious resources if they hope to destroy the egg in time. This turns a normally risky ultimate into a reliable teamfight stun. In return, Phoenix’s slows from Fire Spirits make it simple for Lone Druid and his bear to stick to a target and secure kills that might otherwise have escaped.

This pairing excels at taking objectives by forcing the opponent's hand. Lone Druid applies pressure to towers, baiting the enemy team into a fight. As soon as they commit, Phoenix can use Supernova, creating a massive problem that must be solved under duress. The enemy is caught in a dilemma: focus the bear and get stunned by the egg, or focus the egg and get torn apart by the bear and a refreshed Phoenix. Their best response is a coordinated gank on Phoenix before a fight begins or bringing enough burst to kill the egg from a safe distance.
