Lone Druid + Tiny

Why this works

Tossing the Spirit Bear onto a target sounds like a great way to initiate, but the execution is often awkward. Lone Druid's bear has a leash that prevents it from acting if it gets too far away from the hero. A long-distance Toss from Tiny can easily put the bear outside this range, causing it to be stunned and snap back moments later. This not only wastes the bear's damage and potential for an Entangle, but it also creates a window where the enemy can focus down the bear or the now-isolated Tiny.

As a game develops, this friction becomes more apparent in teamfights. Tiny often wants to use Toss for burst damage and displacement, but throwing the Spirit Bear risks disabling Lone Druid's main source of damage. This can force the Tiny to find other, less ideal targets for Toss, weakening his own initiation. Meanwhile, Lone Druid wants to maintain careful control over his bear's position to pressure heroes and buildings. The two heroes often have conflicting ideas about where their units should be, which can lead to disorganized fights.
