Marci + Phoenix

Why this works

Dropping an enemy into Phoenix's Supernova is the main goal here. Marci can use Dispose to throw a key target right into the sun, stunning them on impact and giving Phoenix a great setup. While Phoenix transforms, Marci can use Unleash to slow anyone trying to escape or attack the egg, creating a messy fight zone that benefits Phoenix's area-of-effect damage. Marci's Sidekick can also be cast on Phoenix before the egg, giving it a bit more lifesteal if it manages to get attacks off after rebirth. The potential for a clean setup is there, but it's not a guaranteed lockdown.

The success of this duo depends heavily on coordination. A poorly timed Dispose from Marci can toss an enemy to safety, completely wasting Phoenix's ultimate. Their general game plans can also be at odds. Marci often wants to dive deep onto a single backline hero, while Phoenix is looking to position for a multi-hero Supernova on the enemy frontline. If they aren't on the same page, one hero is often left without the support of the other. This makes their effectiveness together inconsistent, relying on specific moments of teamwork rather than a natural, constant synergy.
