How Marci and Templar Assassin perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Marci and Templar Assassin win 46.75% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 10,288 matches.
Trying to set up a kill for Templar Assassin often goes wrong when Marci uses Dispose. The throw repositions the enemy, which is the last thing TA wants when she needs a target to stand still for a Meld strike and follow-up attacks. This core misalignment makes their ganking attempts feel clumsy and ineffective. While Sidekick provides a damage boost that Templar Assassin appreciates, its lifesteal is less impactful on a hero who already has Refraction to block incoming damage. Overall, Marci's primary setup tool actively works against TA’s damage pattern, and their kits don't offer much else to make up for this fundamental conflict.
